The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg is a 92-minute film shot in Atlanta, Georgia, and the neighboring cities of Gainesville and Cartersville.

The Goose film is a production of Laughing Cow Productions in Atlanta, Georgia. Post production was done by Moonshine Post Productions. This project was completed with assistance from the Georgia Film Office, a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

When a psychiatrist discovers that a medication for the treatment of acne is causing teenagers to kill themselves, the pharmaceutical company sets out on a campaign to destroy the source of the threat to their billion-dollar-a-year drug.

The events in the The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg film are fictional, and any resemblance to persons, products, or companies is coincidental.
